At Intertaste, in the end it is all about looking, smelling and tasting
Supervision of tests and trials
The Sensory & Product Guidance team is called in at various phases of the development process. These specialists assess the sensory perception of products. This means that we introduce new products to test panels of consumers and experienced internal testers. They provide us with feedback on how the product looks and smells, on the flavour and the texture (mouth perception). If necessary, we can also conduct comparative tests with foods already developed or with competing products.
Flavour phases
1. Looking
Assessment of appearance, indication of visual differences
(pieces/noodles/colour/ etc.).
2. Smelling
Assessing the scent.
3. Tasting
Assessing the flavour and texture (mouth perception).
