Innovation through active development
By means of innovative products, we help our customers to constantly create new sales opportunities. We do so by making use of our market know-how, the trends in flavour development and of course our own creativity and the support of our culinary team.

Devising and selecting an idea
A development project may be initiated following a concrete request by a customer. We do not always wait for that, however. Our product developers and marketers sometimes devise a concept on their own initiative. A number of ideas, various flavour directions and benefits gradually evolve. We then put these to a consumer panel, and their reaction prompts further development of the best idea.

Development of the idea
We then progress to the production of kitchen samples, consulting with suppliers on the ingredients. After all, prices and delivery times also count when assessing viability. After a number of small-scale tests, we can establish a pilot project with a small production line. We continue to involve consumers in each phase, under the supervision of our Sensory & Product guidance team, for example. This process continues until we are ready for more large-scale production.
