We have 3 efficient production locations with a wide range of packaging options

Safety first!
The production processes at Intertaste naturally comply with quality standards and certification such as NEN, FSSC 22000 (ISO 9001–9002, HACCP) Skal and BRC. Moreover, the personal safety of our employees has absolute top priority. Everyday therefore, we continue to emphasise the importance of the right priorities in the right order: safety, quality, service... and only then cost control.

Puttershoek, Nijkerk and Utrecht
Intertaste has three state-of-the-art factories. The production location in Puttershoek is specialised in sterilisation, cleaning, milling, rolling, breaking, mixing and packing of herbs and spices. In Nijkerk, we produce our liquid flavourings - sauces, dressings and marinades - in strictly separated zones, in order to preclude flavour contamination. Utrecht mainly produces dry soups and meal mixes, which leave the factory in consumer packagings.

Separate processes...
When considering the great differences in products and processes, it is logical that each factory has its own 'Development' and 'Quality control' departments, supported by an own microbiological and analytical lab. The complete chain, from source to plate, is under constant control. Moreover, the quality standards are confirmed in audits by customers and official authorities.

...and shared processes
It is financially and logistically more efficient to bundle some business components. Intertaste has a centrally managed Supply Chain organisation which makes optimum use of the production capacity, either order based or full VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory). For the planning, we use a professional S&OP process, modern planning systems and detailed stock management, with integrated SAP as the logistics backbone.
